<p>The milestone includes the delivery of 175 MVA power transformers, Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and protection and control systems, advancing the project towards testing, commissioning, and energization.</p>
<p>Executed on a turnkey EPC basis for the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), the project covers the full scope of engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.</p>

<td width="826">Hassan Allam Utilities Energy and Infinity Power have signed a landmark Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) for the development of the 1 GW Ras Shokeir Wind Project in Egypt’s Red Sea Governorate.</p>
<p>Spanning approximately 143 km² within the Gulf of Suez wind corridor, the project will harness one of Egypt’s strongest wind resources to deliver large-scale renewable electricity to the national grid.</p>
<p>Once operational, Ras Shokeir is expected to generate enough clean electricity to power more than 1.2 million Egyptian homes while avoiding over 1.36 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.</p>
<p>The project further builds on Hassan Allam Utilities’ growing role in advancing the energy transition, contributing alongside its partners to over USD 3.5 billion in renewable energy investments across a diversified portfolio of 3.3 GW of projects under development.</td>

Kortech’s scope spans the entertainment complex, underground car park, cinema, family entertainment center, aquarium, black box, observation wheel, external works, and several specialized attractions.</p>
<p>The comprehensive scope includes HVAC, plumbing and drainage, fire protection, power and lighting systems, building management system interfaces, and coordination with security, ICT, audiovisual, and attraction systems.</p>

<p>Hassan Allam Construction, in joint venture with MetiPro, both subsidiaries of Hassan Allam Holding, have been awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction works for the Masharif Water Purification Plant in Alexandria, Egypt—a major infrastructure development that will strengthen water treatment capacity and support the needs of growing communities.</p>
<p>With a treatment capacity of 175,000 m³ per day, the plant will transform Nile River water into high-quality drinking water through an integrated treatment process encompassing raw water intake, sedimentation and clarification, filtration, treated-water systems, sludge handling, chemical dosing, piping networks, and associated mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works.</p>
<p>The facility will feature two large rapid gravity sand filters, a dual-compartment reservoir system, automated sludge dewatering, and a centralized SCADA/PLC control system, integrating advanced technologies to enable reliable, efficient, and continuous operation.</p>
<p>The project presents significant engineering and construction challenges, including its complex location between two major waterways, extensive foundation requirements, and the execution of critical hydraulic structures and treatment facilities.</p>
<p>Building on Hassan Allam Holding’s extensive track record in delivering large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure, the project further reinforces the Group’s commitment to developing resilient and sustainable water systems across Egypt.</p>

<p>Drawing water from the Rosetta Branch of the Nile, the station comprises 14 vertical pumping units, each with a capacity of 10.29 m³/s, providing a total pumping capacity of more than 10 million m³ per day, at a pumping head of 28 meters.</p>
<p>Our scope encompassed the station’s integrated civil, mechanical, electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, with the facility now successfully completed and handed over for initial operation.</p>
<p>This strategic infrastructure forms an essential part of the Mostakbal Misr project, supporting the expansion of agricultural reclamation across the New Delta and contributing to Egypt’s long-term objectives for agricultural development, food and water security, and sustainable economic growth.</p>

<p>At the heart of the development, our teams are progressing on the Primary Infrastructure Works for the Ras El Hekma Ring Road, approximately 17 km of a six-lane dual carriageway integrated with comprehensive utility pipelines and networks. Designed to serve as the backbone of Phase 1, the project will support connectivity, accessibility, infrastructure and the long-term growth of the destination.</p>
<p>In parallel, Hassan Allam Construction continues to advance the Dry Bulk Excavation Works for the Grand Canal, spanning 5.3 km and contributing to the creation of a landmark waterfront development that will become a defining feature of the masterplan.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Hassan Allam Utilities Energy Platform, a renewable energy investment vehicle established by Hassan Allam Utilities and co-owned by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and Meridiam announced  along with Infinity Power, Africa’s largest renewable energy company the signing of complementary agreements with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy and the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) to develop two major renewable energy projects with a total capacity of 1,200 MW of solar power and 720 MWh of battery storage. This is the second project for Hassan Allam Utilities  Energy in Egypt</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The agreements were signed in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and represent a major step forward in implementing Egypt’s National Energy Strategy. The projects aim to maximize the role of renewable energy in the national mix, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and enhance grid stability through advanced storage technologies.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Under the signed agreements, the consortium will develop a 200 MW solar power plant in Benban targeting to reach commercial operation within Q3 2026 , including 120 MWh of connected battery storage, and a 1,000 MW solar power plant in Minya, incorporating 600 MWh of storage capacity targeting to reach commercial operation within Q3 2027. These landmark projects will play a vital role in supporting Egypt’s ambition to increase the contribution of renewables to 42% of the total energy mix by 2030, and 65% by 2040, reinforcing the country’s position as a regional leader in clean energy and sustainable development.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Infinity Power continues to play a pivotal role in shaping Africa’s renewable energy landscape. With a growing portfolio of solar, wind, and storage projects across Egypt, South Africa, and Senegal, the company is driving innovation and regional integration in clean energy. Its strategic focus on scalable technologies and grid infrastructure—positions Infinity Power as a key enabler of energy security and sustainability across the continent, with a clear vision to reach 10 GW of operational capacity by 2030.</p>

This new collaboration marks another milestone in expanding the platform’s clean energy footprint and advancing Egypt’s renewable energy ambitions.</p>
