Hassan Allam Construction Reaches Key Milestone on New Delta Pumping Station

Hassan Allam Construction has successfully achieved the Preliminary Taking Over of Pumping Station No. 1, marking a significant milestone in the infrastructure supporting Egypt’s wider New Delta development.

Drawing water from the Rosetta Branch of the Nile, the station comprises 14 vertical pumping units, each with a capacity of 10.29 m³/s, providing a total pumping capacity of more than 10 million m³ per day, at a pumping head of 28 meters.

Our scope encompassed the station’s integrated civil, mechanical, electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, with the facility now successfully completed and handed over for initial operation.

This strategic infrastructure forms an essential part of the Mostakbal Misr project, supporting the expansion of agricultural reclamation across the New Delta and contributing to Egypt’s long-term objectives for agricultural development, food and water security, and sustainable economic growth.
