In the presence of H.E. Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Hassan Allam Holding has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with AD Ports Group to develop and invest in the East Port Said Economic Zone—an integral hub for global trade and investment, and explore other projects.

The agreement was signed by Hassan Allam, CEO of Hassan Allam Holding, and Ahmad Almutawa, Regional CEO at Abu Dhabi Ports Group. The signing took place in the presence of H.E. Lieutenant General Engineer Kamel Al Wazir, Egyptian Minister of Industry and Transport, H.E. Dr Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, H.E. Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, UAE Minister of Investment, H.E. Rania A. Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation of Egypt, H.E. Hassan El-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, and Ambassador Mariam Khalifa Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Waleid Gamal Eldien, MSc, Chairman of SCZONE, and Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi , Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group.

Strategically located at the northern entrance of the Suez Canal, the East Port Said Economic Zone is set to become a global hub for trade and manufacturing. It offers direct access to key shipping routes and is designed to attract investment across logistics, industry, and green energy—boosting exports and supporting Egypt’s role in global supply chains.

This milestone builds on the ongoing collaboration between the two entities. In December 2024, AD Ports Group appointed Hassan Allam Construction to build its new multipurpose cargo terminal on Egypt’s Red Sea coast in Safaga.
