Hassan Allam Holding (HAH), a leading construction and engineering group headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, serving regional and global clients in the Middle East and North Africa, has successfully acquired MCC, a leader in metallurgy and construction chemicals with over 20 years of experience in the Egyptian market under the name of ChemTech.

ChemTech’s development within the next few years will be in line with a global expansion strategy that aims to place it among global leaders by international standards in its fields of expertise. It will additionally work on identifying requests from sites and technical offices managed by HAH and will supply products such as concrete admixture, repair and grout material, surface improvement and mortar additives, industrial flooring, cementitious and bituminous waterproofing, tile adhesive, joint sealant, interior and exterior decorative range and metallurgy chemicals to clients. The acquisition falls directly in line with the group’s strategy to funnel investments into diverse sectors that complement its business offering. HAH expects many collaborations to take place between ChemTech and its other subsidiaries, such as Hassan Allam Construction (HAC) and recently acquired water-treatment leaders Bioworks and Intech.
